MicroCorp Promotes Josh Ripley to Cable Manager

Telecom Distributor, MicroCorp, raises the bar one again for cable support- project management for hospitality and multi-site Ethernet Deals. Partners can get their life back while still doing large cable deals.

Marietta, GA – MicroCorp, distributor of commercial data, voice, cable, UC and data center services, announced today enhanced project management services for Ethernet and hospitality deals through the promotion of Josh Ripley to Cable Business Manager. Ripley will lead a team of four cable specialists now offering Ethernet project management from pre-sales to implementation. These enhancements are in addition to the full-service provisioning already provided on every MicroCorp order.

As the business manager over cable, Ripley will lead MicroCorp’s focused project management efforts within Ethernet. Ripley’s team will support a base of more than 1,500 selling partners to help navigate their orders through providers’ Hospitality and Complex Order business rules, processes and systems. Supporting Ripley is Lorrie Powell, Complex Cable Project Specialist, who becomes the single point of contact and project manager for 10-plus site multi-location orders. MicroCorp partners can turn over large requests and have dedicated cable project management with all carriers covering every step to final install completion. Ripley will manage a defined escalation path with carriers to remedy issues as they arise to keep projects on track.

A tenured project manager of WAN sales, Ripley has served on MicroCorp’s cable team since 2013. Prior to joining MicroCorp, Ripley worked as a cable manager at Intelisys.  Ripley boasts experience and talent within the hospitality vertical, bringing creative solutions to solving the issues of increased connected devices within hotels, as well as the growing guest room tech needs.
